What causes snoring

Snoring is caused by a partial blockage of the upper airway behind the tongue.  When you are awake, your breathing is unobstructed as your body consciously keeps your upper airway open. But when you are asleep, the muscles around your airway relax, and the airway often becomes narrower.

For most people who snore, air rushing through the narrowed opening causes the soft tissue in this part of the upper airway to vibrate, making the sound of ‘snoring’

SnoreMeds works - find out how

why do you snore

Let’s start with a simple snoring test.

  • Breathe in deeply
  • Push the air to the back of your throat as if you are snoring.
Can you feel the soft tissue vibrate and even make a snoring noise

Let us try the test again, but make one change

  • Move your lower jaw forward.
  • Breathe in deeply and push the air to the back of your throat.

You will notice that the forward position of lower jaw has stopped the soft tissue from vibrating. In essence this small movement, has opened the airway allowing a free flow of air.

It has changed my life!

From the first night I used the SnoreMeds I was able to sleep without being restless and waking. The small size makes it perfect.

I’ve tried other products that are similar to SnoreMeds but they didn’t work out for one reason or another. This product works..
